Ben Forta suggested I post a screen shot taken from my laptop... of the Merrimack Beta ColdFusion Administrator running on my PowerBook G4:
What's that? Enterprise Manager (Instance Manager and Cluster Manager)? And is that a native OS X installer there on the desktop to the right? (cf_install.app)

And although you can't see it easily (hey, it's a teaser!), the URL is just http://localhost/CFIDE/administrator/index.cfm - Apache configured via the installer which automatically placed the CFIDE directory into my Apache web root!

was it my browser, or does that not link to a larger shot of that graphic?

I'm such a tease, aren't I? :)
Nope, no large (readable) version of that image...
I'm just happy to know that there will be an OS X installer - no more fumbling around with instructions everytime I need to reinstall. And I've downloaded Eclipse with the CFCEclipse plugin - I'm impressed with the zippiness of the program. Going to have to install it on my PC when I go back to the office Monday . . .
Was the announcement that CF would be supported on OS X for deployment, or still just a development version?
My understanding was that Merrimack would provide a native OS X installer - production support was not specifically mentioned.
