Using ColdFusion and Flex?

You may not realize it but your public CFC methods are available via Flex Remoting. Adobe have just released a hot fix for ColdFusion 8.0.0 and a hot fix for ColdFusion 8.0.1 to address this problem. Read the Tech Note about the hot fix for more details.

    Interesting, I actually just noticed this a couple weeks ago. Several methods in a CFC I was working with that should have been remote were public, but Flex was still able to hit them without error. I had been meaning to look into why this could be happening...
